Donated barks form an open, anonymous research corpus. Our aim is to make it available to universities and researchers — under a data-use agreement — to advance the science of canine communication and welfare (the kind of work cited on our science page). Because the corpus carries no identities, it can be shared for legitimate research without exposing any contributor.
Donating is opt-in and per-clip — you decide each time, in the bark tool. Nothing is collected unless you tick the box. Since donations are anonymous, they aren't tied to you in any way.
